This semester of 3D design I think has been very rewarding in the amount i was able to take out of the class. I learned two 3d programs (blender and maya) and accomplished a lot of work with prototyping I felt. For grades I think for the time and work I put into my assignments I think an A.

Final product, very impressed with progress since first prototype I was able to change my prototype multiple times for the better. This one was my most complex yet, crashed computer a few times but still happy with results.

A video of my final product I am happy with the way it came out.

For the next project I’ve decided to go back to working in 3D software although this time isntead of working in blender I decided to to try maya to create a 3d model for the balsa wood statue.

more views of my third prototype

Found a new way of creating prototypes that produces better results, am happy with progress but I want to prototype some more.

First prototype, sloppy, need to rethink approach. This way is very difficult and does not produce good results will scrap this and try again.

Created a more complex prototype than my last, learned that I could do many more things with maya than I thought and I think I will prototype some more.

Final piece~

Practicing putting the octahedron together before doing the final piece, too many tabs extras will have to be cut off.
